Draft. This is placeholder wording to establish structure. Have a qualified solicitor review it before launch — especially the cannabis, advertising, and data-protection clauses.
Our approach
Leaf ID is built to be pseudonymous. We collect the minimum needed to run your journal and the shared library, and we don't ask for your real name.
What we collect
A pseudonymous handle and sign-in credential; the sessions and observations you choose to log; and basic technical data needed to operate the service securely.
What we don't collect
We don't require real-name identity, and we don't sell your personal data. Your individual session logs are private to you.
How we use it
To power your journal and Taste Map, and — in anonymised, aggregated form — to improve the shared Living Library and recommendations.
Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies and local storage — for example, to remember age verification and (for admins) region preview. These are not used for advertising.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase). Access is restricted and protected by row-level security so you can only see your own logs.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact us and we'll action it.
